What "pay" are these contributions based on if these pilots are not actively flying at FEDEX?

Thanks.
Federal Law: B fund contributions based upon minimum guaranteed pay for duty position paid upon return to work. I am not sure how this works at FedEx as far as number of hours it will be based upon, but it applies to all carriers. His A plan or defined retirement (payments after retirement also will show the same as if he never left.) He will not be able to bid a higher position (Captain or bigger pay scale) while out even if seniority will hold it for pay purposes. If you go out as an F.O./Capt you stay an F.O./Capt for this purpose.
