AirTran Airways - Press Release

Can someone explain exactly whats going on? From the press release it sounds like they won't be acting as an AirTran feeder, but moreso a standalone Skywest Airlines branded operation flying in support of, and sharing profits/losses, with AirTran.
You got it. It's most likely how regional contracts will be from now on. It's at risk, which means if AirTran loses $$$ on those routes then SkyWest loses $$$ in those routes.
