Vessel length is irrelevant when evaluating offshore seaworthiness. Its not that simple. A larger vessel could actually be less seaworthy giving consideration to the crew's ability to handle the rig, displacement, hull design, construction method/quality/ etc. Many people have comfortably circumnavigated in sailboats less that 30ft.
Out there where you can't avoid the weather boat length is meaningless. Stablity, righting ablity and other factors are way more important.
