As a Compass pilot I can see where Maxjet is comming from regarding the Jumpseat. I live in base but jumpseat from time to time and the attitude from old NWA pilots is pretty bad. I had one guy tell me that I was taking his job away. (Nevermind the fact that they voted for CPZ to exsist). I see a 50/50 attitude from that group. The part I differ from his is old Delta guys have been nothing but great for me jumpseating. I have never had problems with them. In fact most ask questions and are interested in the airplane and flow.
That's just the attitude. If that NWA capt was furloughed and had to flow back to Compass he would in a second and then that would cost someone else their job. It's too funny the positions that pilots have on things and then are the first ones in line to contradict themselves. I've got to stop reading these forums.
