I know that the MSP ARFF advise to stay in the aircraft unless they say it is not being contained. With the equipment they have, they can literally cut the fuselage in have (or cut off a wing or engine) by narrowing the nozzle.

Ya, that video I saw of the SLC 767 had the audio also. The ARFF was adamantly advising the Captain of that flight to keep everybody on board. The nice thing about the -88 is that the slides are pretty short since you're close to the ground so the chance of somebody hurting themselves during evac is pretty slim. A 747 would be a whole different animal. Especially that upper deck slide!
