Also, I don't know if foam would've been any better on magnesium. 'At stuffs powerful hot.
If you've ever seen the video, you'd know that
was a huge engine fire! I seem to remember them being on a runway, also. Foam is a very good alternative to water for magnesium fires. Dry chemical is the best, though.
