There's really nothing to get over. The employees at my airline do not want to merge with your airline, plain and simple. Every time I see a UAL Pilot they're tripping over themselves explaining how great it would be if we combine forces. I politely tell them that I want nothing to do with UAL and wish them well. If thats not a tell-tale sign that we're happier alone than in bed with you, than perhaps you should "get over it".

Its not a case of ego, or I'm better than you are, its simple economics. We don't feel that you'll be bringing anything to the party other than a large anchor that finally sinks our already barely afloat boat.
