SWA is slowly reducing their operation in SLC. I believe they are going to be down to 34 departures this Spring. At one point 10 years ago they were planning on having 250 departures a day out of SLC.
Good grief! I guess that means our SLC service is down more than 85%! SWA will continue to shift around service to where the money is. I think that Delta will be adding service to SLC as a their Fortress Hub West. At the same time, I would expect SWA to add service to CVG and MEM sometime next year just as they've opened up MSP and BOS.
