Default I was offered a job there

I was offered a captain spot there two years ago. The pay was not great at all and I would have been expected to spend 21 nights away each month.

The flight time is not all that valuable either. 152 time is about the same as 208 time (unless you are a 208 FO then the 152 PIC is worth more). I would stay where you are. Besides I doubt they will be hiring for a long time.

Get comfortable as a CFI. It is going to be a while before things get better. During the recession of the early 1990's it was common to see 3000 hour flight instructors at BFI.
