The N side is just completing phase 2 of the indoc on-line. I would ask the DGS and Feds "What are the 2 different ways in which the aircraft are operated differently (with specifics)? The N 757 guys are currently going through 767 differences in ATL as we speak. Nice rumor, depending where you sit, but I don't put much credence in it.

Apparently the only real issues they are having with N/S standardization are the N guys learning how to balance the workload with the new PF/PM switchoff. It's "suggested" (hint hint ) that CA's do the walkaround when practical (i.e. not raining, snowing, or anything other than warm and sunny, haha) to help relieve the FO's workload when they are PF. Coming from experience, it sure does help if the CA does the walkaround before a transcon leg. Loading all the waypoints and winds plus walking around can be a real time crunch on a 50 minute hub turn with an aircraft swap.

Also, they are still observing some CA's always doing the WARTS brief instead of the PF doing it. CA's are only to augment the abnormals section and add anything that is needed after the briefing is complete.

As far as the south side- more stuff will be coming out in regards to DAL60. They were accepted into ASAP and information will be sent out accordingly. Fatigue and optical illusions are key words...
