I think this is no more than a way for SKW to reduce training cost seeing that a large majority of the pilots we hire have previous 121 experience in a/c we already fly.
RAH tried this back in the last hiring boom for previous crj and e145 guys and it was denied by the FAA. I don't know if that has any bearing on SkyWest or not but it sounds like a similiar program.
