Unless I mis-read, nobody said not being a CFI makes you a lesser pilot. I certainly don't think so. There are a number of ways to prepare yourself for an airline career. The CFI route is but one of them.

I completely agree with you. I hope the new ATP requirement will put an end to the scar that Gulfstream is.
