With the added flying in summer 2010 I do not see a furlough as possible or probable.

The exact quote is we are much closer to hiring than furloughing. Quite noncommittal. We may have a need for new pilots shortly, but the decision has not been made. I would state that we are no longer in a position that we could expect pink slips. Also, I would not be shocked to see an official announcement about accepting applications and or interviewing in the future. (3-9months)
