I'm a California native, born and raised in Ventura County, just north of LA. I've been back and forth over the last 15 years and cannot believe what a cesspool, filthy area Ciudad de Los Angeles has become. The city of the angels, my ***... Not anymore, mi amigo! Better learn Spanish...graffiti...and some phat gang signz...

Also, if you're a shooting enthusiast and like to own/fire handguns, LA is a LOT better than NYC. You can pretty much forget about private firearm ownership, especially handguns. But, then again, you should be safe because the nice, law abiding criminals won't have any either, so you don't need them yourself. Unless you're a celebrity or politician. Just bringing that up because most of the pilots I know believe in firearm ownership and enjoy the shooting sports.
