Well, I've seen a couple of schools of thought on this:
Some guys won't touch ANYTHING that came from the galley.
Other guys simply eat what was given to them.
Yet other guys visually verify the crew meals prior to departure, INCLUDING the contents and INFORM the FAs when the pilot meals are to be served.
Takes all kinds.
