UPS/FDX Have set a standard. The legacy carriers will follow when the time comes. At least there is a standard to look up to. A really good standard, if there was not such a good standard, when the time comes for legacy carriers to raise the pay rate, it might have been lower. I agree with some of you guys in the sense that extremely high paying scales only last when times are good, but when sh*t hits the fan everything goes down hill. Legacy carriers need something like the UPS/FDX pay scales something that will not crumble down during the hard times.
