I was doing this for six year waiting for DAL to hire again. It made the transition doable with a newborn.

In the end take the chance for you and your family. There is a life outside of this career, and if you are furloughed it will give you that perspective. I would take the change if I was a 12 year CA in the top 200 at EV today. To me it is not a choice. (that is said looking at it from both sides of the fence FWIW)
I really appreciate the advice. I will definitely update my app and keep my fingers crossed. It is arrogant of me to even think I have a shot at getting hired at DAL anyways, so I will keep dreamin!
