Im with this guy, if this has been you life long goal, well go get it! Dont let people bring you down. It is true, this is a tough industry, crappy pay, lots a time away from home and extremely hard on relationships. It really does take an extraordinary person to be happy in this industry. Now as others have stated that aviation degree is not needed unless you plan on running your local airport. Have a back up plan!
