I would leave the total number of approaches flown column out. I am not sure that anyone cares about the number of approaches you have flown. If you were in actual for X amount of hours they can usually guess that you also flew a few approaches in there. I have never heard of, nor have I ever seen the total number of approaches requested.

I stopped logging mine since I no longer keep track. My airline PCs cover the currency part and since I always fly some sort of approach it is just no longer something I track.
