I would bet that vast majority of the SLC based guys will make every attempt to stay in SLC. I've flown with a couple of MD captains who said they would go back to he 767B to stay in SLC. I also flew with one senior captain (a DFW commuter) who is planning on bidding the 320 in MEM. I don't know anyone who loves the MD enough to follow it to MSP.
I've also talked to a few MSP 320 guys who are chomping at the bit to move to SLC.....I guess we will see
