I told some friends that Auburn could hang just on emotion for 3.5 quarters, the other .5 would be a crapshoot. I heard it was wild in the first quarter but i understand there was a big drive at the end. Thankfully, I too was flying. Its hard on the heart you know watching these games. I did tivo it and I'm sure you'd understand if I don't ever watch it

. But good job, 2 undefeated regular seasons, Saban is working hard at climbing that ladder to become Alabama's second best coach ever.

A few thoughts about the game. First, you guys played a hell of a game. I was looking for a rock to hid under. Your offense in the first quarter was awesome and had Alabama guessing and running around like their heads were on fire and their arses were catching. Your defense shut down the most prolific running game in the country and your MLB single handedly derailed the best chance for a Heisman Alabama has ever had.
You guys shot the proverbial wad in the first qtr. While the defense remained strong till the end, the offense lost its novelty and Bama made the proper adjustments. Kudos to Sabin and his staff. You had one play after the first quarter, the 70+ yard TD at the begining of the 3rd. Other than that, not so much.
I guess Chizik shut up all the haters. You guys got yourselves a coach.
A win's a win.
