I started out as an RC Pilot, but got tired of looking up all the time so I went for an SPL licence instead. Now I look down on my RC airfield when I fly over it

Still do my RC flying tho, in a way it is the best from two worlds, RC and SPL. Both affordable for the average person, and you can own your own planes.

The major step is to get airborne, not really how. The most excellent plane is the one you are just flying you know!
