Delta to cut more Cincinnati service
Delta Air Lines will cut more flights from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport by mid-February, an airline spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.

The carrier will eliminate two flights each to Montreal, Des Moines, Iowa; and Tri-Cities (Kingsport/Johnson City/Bristol) Tenn. It will cut one flight each to Providence, R.I., and Oklahoma City, Okla.

In September, the airline cut about 50 flights out of the airport, further reducing its service. That included direct flights to London and Frankfurt, Germany. Delta announced a further 12 percent cut in November, to take place in January.

With the January and February cuts, Delta's flights from Cincinnati will fall to 180-190 from the current 215, the spokeswoman said.

Atlanta-based Delta (NYSE: DAL) operates a hub from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
