The guys who REALLY think like this will always be an obstacle we don't need.
But beyond that, there are a LOT of process changes that could be made, how we bid, how we change our schedules, how we do a lot of things, but there is simply no mechanism in place for line pilot input. No "tiger teams", no think tanks or heck, not even any focus groups.
There is a tremendous amount of bureaucratic inertia, both on the company side, and the ALPA side.

I'm totally with you and I knew what you were saying, I hope my post didn't come across wrong. I'm agreeing with you that when the "what are you going to give up?" brownosers pipe up I'm ready with all of the things I think we need to give up, just happens to be one sided on my part.
