Compass is directly replacing the DC-9, arguably more than other regionals out there. Big regional jets for not a lot of money. This isn't a compass problem, its a Mesaba, Pinnacle, Republic, Shuttle, Mesa,
Skywest (isn't this where you are at?), ASA, Comair, and anyone else flying a big RJ problem.
As far as replacing DC9 flying, maybe. It can also be argued that Compass is directly responsible for Delta NOT furloughing so far.
