TJohn,
You can't delete it, but you certainly can edit it down to nothing. So I'm not going to quote it. Besides, it'll probably get pulled down.
So get it modified, then maybe go for a run, or something. I've been through the furlough experience, I've been there. I'm sorry you're there now. But the sooner you can move beyond the anger stage, the better your life will be.
Good luck (and I mean that sincerely).

As for the order: good for United, I suppose. Nobody here knows if that's good for pilots or not. I suspect that the next phase in your history will involve some sort of transformation (i.e. a merger), and that UAL would emerge as the number one carrier, with a great network. Whether the revenue will pick up fast enough to overcome the debt burden is anyone's guess.
We are competitors, and I don't prefer for UAL (or AMR) to come out on top, but both have enormous potential, and both are underestimated at one's peril. It would be silly for anyone (especially management) to spend even an ounce of energy dissing United, when our company should be focused solely on burying them, and we should be focused on our own jobs.
