No, people are confusing your original question with short call.
If you are on long call, you have a 12 hour call-out window, regardless if it's an international or domestic flight. So if your JFK-MAD leaves at 1930, they can call you no later than 0600 to give you the trip (for international, they need to give you 1:30 for sign in). For JFK-SFO at 1930, they can't call you later than 0630 (domestic only requires 1 hour for sing in).
If they convert you to short call, your short call
availability window is 12 hours for domestic or 24 hours for international. The reason for this is that Whitlow applies to domestic flying but not international.
