I know I have read two different versions of the boarding priorities for all DCI carriers on mainline flights, both wholly owned and non-wholly owned's.
One version is seniority by wholly-owned's, followed by the non-wholly owned's...ie: XJ gets on before a 9E employee, regardless of the XJ hire date. Then I read again where all of the DCI employees are by seniority, regardless of DCI affiliation...if a 9E agent has a higher hire date over a XJ agent, 9E gets the seat first. The latter explanation was due to something about DLNet..all DCI carriers are S3C on mainline (and depending on the regional aircraft, who the employee works for) but can someone please clarify?
Are Pinnacle employees the only ones who do not have S2's for DCI? I know XJ, OH and CP get them..not sure about ASA, Freedom, etc; I saw a XJ (maybe OH) employee listed as a S2 on a Pinnacle flight but even as 9E employees, we can't even use them on our own aircraft so the wholly-owneds have the higher boarding priority when they use those S2's. (FYI).
Hopefully they @ DL will at least let Pinnacle employees enjoy some less-restrictive flight benefits at the first of the year.
My spouse will be going to Europe in a few days..I've used all 3 of my Int'l travel days and she hasnt used any and neither have our kids. (the kids' allotment will probably go unused this year, which will be lost, since they can't be given to the other pass riders).
I will be going along with her, but on a ZED..right behind all the buddy pass riders at the bottom- they'll get the first class seats before a DCI employee on a ZED..at least on this particular flight. Oh well....
