I was just browsing the Jan bid package for MSP DC9 and A320. I just have a question as to the commutability of the northern bases, i.e. MSP,DTW. First glance the MSP DC9 flying scares me a little bit, especially with the 5 day trip pairing that begins 7am on day A and ends at 2200 on day E, something that the south side never has. And I believe the M88 has more trip variety than the DC9 as well. (countless GRB,CMH layo in the DC9 bid pack)

What is the general consensus for MSP? It seems like it's the northern version of ATL, where the trips generally aren't created for commuters, and the mentality of "commute is a choice" is running wild. I'm just trying to see if it's better commute to the west coast from MSP, or should I keep looking east bound.
