Guess I'm missing something here, (thanks Tony for the cool pics), but WHY would you want to take a -200 to FL410? This thing climbs like Oprah on a rope-ladder, and topping weather...well, that usually means turbulence (bad ju-ju in this flight regime). The Bob Hoover statement was great! A little extra in the back pocket can save your arse.
Food for thought...manufacturer limitations may have inherent safety margins, but they're established with a brand new plane/engines by a test pilot wearing a parachute
