Depends on the aircraft type. On the FRJ you didn't need a mechanic to do anything. It was a selection that could be made on the MFD menu. One guy could be in single cue while the other was in chop sticks.

Agreed, never mind the fact that it takes forever to accelerate if the plane got that slow in the climb.
