The problem with that setup is that the airtubes to the earpieces are of unequal length leading unequal volumes between the two ears.

After you get your stuff, you can go to a hardware and get airline tubing (like for a fish tank pump) to make your own. Just make sure you keep the tubes leading to the earpieces are of equal length by locating the T joint right in back of your head and make the output tube from the headset long enough to reach the T joint.
