Flight School Interview...
Well, after almost giving up on searching for a teaching job, I stumbled across an ad for a local school looking for full-time and part-time instructors. Since I have already slipped back into my previous career as a draftsman, and am in a comfortable financial bliss, I am only looking for a part time gig and it seems that this school might finally be the perfect fit. Also, they are close by, and not out in the boonies too!
My only problem is that the interview is on sunday and I haven't flown an aircraft since march. I've taught one IFR student since then, and I have demonstrated some stuff for him, but 100% current I am not. I am fairly confident that I'll do okay (I'm going to chair fly to prepare mentally), but I don't have the means to actually go up and practice, so I will probably be a bit rusty.
Anyway wish me luck and if there is any advice out there, or if you may have experienced interview "rustiness" by all means share it here...
