You just gotta love this guy.

Simply put, carriers with a profitable area of business raise prices in one market so they can
lower prices in another until they gain a competitive advantage in the new market, at which point
they raise prices and repeat the process elsewhere. This is the modus operandi of Southwest: to
pick on a weaker carrier until they fail. If Air Tran were successful and Midwest were to fail, 1,500
local jobs would be lost and the prices would inevitably go up. What good to the consumer is
really accomplished by this outcome?"

So in his rationalizing aimed at his subjects he rips the business journal for reporting the gaffe and then whines about Airtrans predatory pricing in the market. I am especially amused by his comment about the loss of 1500 local jobs. CLUELESS................

"What I regret the most is that my comments were used to cause harm to our employees.
Midwest employees have been active members of the Milwaukee community for 25 years."

Gee Bryan, I feel real bad for the employees hurt by these asinine statements YOU made. What Midwest employees is he referring to in this statement??? Need I say more.
