The least the company could have done was at least find a Captain who had been furloughed once or twice in his career, instead of some recent college graduate who might not have held any other job or other professional experience before gaining his lucrative FO position with the company.

He has indicated to me, personally - utilizing company e-mail, that he would - if enough Open time existed, pick up as much of it as he could.

Mighty kind of him, so is the role of instructor pilots flying in the right seat.
