This may be a dumb question, but how do you decline sub and elect OTP before you are assigned a trip? The crew notification just said I was removed from the trip and put into sub at the end of Jan.
If you decline Sub you are automatically electing OTP.
If they notify you of your trip verbally --- then just decline it then.
If it's via a crew notification on VIPS, you just need to call them to decline it.
I believe the requirement for you to decline is within 24 hrs of original notification or by 4 hrs prior to showtime, whichever, occurs first.
