Old base. Hmmm. SEA wasn't a pilot base at Delta, PDX was. So I am guessing DFW, with MD90s. We still have plenty of Platinum Medallion people living in the Metroplex, and the MD90 can hit every corner of the US from DFW. We will have bases in every corner doing international flights eventually, so DFW seems like a logical choice.
DL had SEA as a 727 base, I was hired in Aug 91 and flew out of there as a flight engineer for my first few months. Cannot remember when it closed but it was sometime in the early 90's.
