I'm a C-17 guy at WRI (formerly CHS) and when I was an MP, I split all the primary time evenly among the crew and this was the practice of all the "A" codes I flew with.
By God, I'm claiming any time airborne as PIC if my name's at the top of the orders. You're probably an IP now, so it's a moot point as you're probably logging all IP time anyways. I try to log a good 1/3 of my IP time while unconcious in the CRACM!
