From what I've been able to gather from industry contacts, is that Skywest Inc has a minority stake in a new Vietnamese carrier. Apparently the ASA training dept has been tasked with investigating what would be required to supply planes, pilots, or both to the venture. It could be a totally non seniority group of pilots if needed.
I'm a little late to the thread, but this is possibly real? This seems like a practical joke, but I guess stranger things have happened.
