The 88 cockpit is very quiet. I used a Telex 750 for many years and was happy with it. I don't think a noise reduction headset is needed.
I bought a cheap telex on eBay and that works great for the 88 as it is very quiet. The only times it's loud is if a window doesn't seal but that'll only happen on the takeoff roll to initial climb then it's a silent world with a slight vibrator noise. When that thing is off that cockpit is extremely quiet.
