Other Careers - Attorney - Truck Driver
Just a few thoughts, for what they are worth -
Attorney - An infinite amount of rules, often contradictory, any or all of which may or may not be enforced at any given time.
Aviation - A finite number of rules, which are (usually) uniformly enforced.
Truck driver - Drive alone, go around the block/turn back to see a pretty girl/quaint bridge/the old rail line/ . . . Pull over to sleep whenever you want. . .
Aviation (civilian) - Easy turns (always), always have somebody else in the cockpit and a crew to deal with, the public knows who you are and who you work for . . .
Just wanted to get this posted - don't know if there is any interest - I have a Commercial license and instrument rating, then went to law school, practice as a sole practitioner and still drive a truck when I can . . .
