Thanks for the complement. I have read this thread (for about a year) and decided it was time to join in. I became a little too concerned with the euphoria that was starting to occur around the battle for JAL. One billion dollars was a little low for access to Japan with a HEALTHY carrier, and JAL is on life support. 1.5 Billion or higher for a company that should be sending out twitters on is current filing status, well I am not that excited about overpaying for something that could be radically changed through a trip in the Japanese courts. Now that it appears the price is going higher, this pilot group must decide what price is too high (I realize we have limited say as a pilot group).

The other point I was trying to get across is that whats good for the corporation is not NECESSARILY good for the pilot group. Chapter 11 filing was a most recent example.
