I don't know, I suppose some SWA pilots expect to eventually fly something besides a 737. Is that realistic - I don't know, but it may be their "expectation" wrong or right. What I do know is that neither will look like they do today in 10 or 20 years.

Right or wrong, the precedent has been set. Wasn't part of the USAir SLI explanation that, in adulterated terms - were it not for America West buying you guys, you'd be out of a job? It wasn't so much career
expectation as it was career reality.
Seems awfully premature to worry about all this anyway.
