So as a matter of fact the 135 VFR captain is the same as a 135 IFR captain, only that you cannot fly IFR and time minimums for applicability are different. For both position the pilot have to be Instrument Rated.


VFR:

Read Part 135.243 (b)(1)(2)(3)


IFR:

Read Part 135.243 (c)(1)(2)(3)
My apologies I'm not familiar with the VFR 135 stuff since my company flies dual, I thought that the subject poster was talking about something different. Good luck on your interview
