For everyone who trashes Eagle, when I went there over 10 years ago, I could look at myself in the mirror. Why? I didn't buy my job.

Comair, ASA, RAH, Xjet, Pinnacle and several others were PFT.

Skywest was just that. Out west. Didn't live west of the Rockies, not much luck getting an interview.

Mesaba was similar except up North.

I made captain in 2 years on paper. 9-11 changed all that and Eagle was not allowed to grow due to scope at AA and being wholly owned could not look for outside flying.

IMO, today's treasure is yesterday's trash. It goes in cycles.

BTW, no SJS. Never flew it. I never got off the blender. By choice.
