Because Embraer was origionally calling it the "EMbraer Jet 145" before they changed it to the "Embraer Regional Jet 145". So it's coded EMJ in our Saber system.

And yes, the CRJ-700 is nicer than a ERJ-145. Who cares if it's regional...it's a freak'n airplane.
