There are alot of flight schools around with G1000 equipped Twinstars these days. Go get night current with 2 stop and go's and a full stop landing. It will be well under an hour and probably under $200. Not breaking the bank, staying current (if you need to), and some relatively cheap G1000 experience. Or just ask them to sit in the plane and show it to you for a couple minutes. It's also a tax write-off.
