Actually that data goes to the FOQA gatekeepers who are ALPA guys. After they de-identify then it goes to the company. The FAA finds out about it if they audit the company or read about it the ASAP (which the FOQA guys told you to do after they call you).
When it comes to flight data reporting, the 737NG airplanes sing like a bird.
If you pick up your coffee and take a sip, that airplane reports it to the ground.
