Default Good Luck with SWA

I interviewed with SWA and AirTran last month. Only 6 out of 22 got the call at SWA, I was not one. I wil try next year. This was one of the interviewies 3rd time, and he was turned down yet again (said he would try again). So being a good guy and having a desire to work hard is not enough. The people I know, that fly at SWA, are great guys. The people I met while in the process were nice. The SWA is top notch. The interview, while nice and comfortable just seemed a little phoney. People just did not seem to be themselves (interviewer and interviewies). I would love to sit in on a HR hiring board there for some insight. As much as they say to be yourself, everybody didn't seem interested in who you were or how you got there. The questions did not seem realistic. I see their side (hiring for attitude) but it is not as friendly as it seems on the surface. AirTran on the other hand were nice, genuine and interested in you. I have interviewed alot lately and they (AirTran) are by far the biggest picture easiest going, and show basic respect the seemed lacking at the other places I have interviewed (5 total offered 3). I look forward to working there. I hate being made to feel like I am begging for a job, when I will give my all for who ever gives me a chance.
Remember don't worry about who to work for till you have an offer.
Good luck, and remember ultimatley only you can make yourself happy where you are, not the pay or people (they sure can help though )

PS job security should be huge consideration
