I have done the MSP-HPN, it is not fun. I had a MSP-CLE that was long because it had a taxi out, sit for 45 min get re routed 3 times, taxi back in for more fuel, taxi out, the new route took us west then down to DSM then somewhere in Missouri, almost to Arkansas then back up to CLE. I am also pretty sure they had the ALTERNATE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS which we had to spend 20 mins explaining to them why that will not work. Of course as soon as we took off our original route cleared up but they kept us on the reroute.
